The Wiz
First, a disappointing loss to TAMCC. Major changes probably are not necessary. TAMCC shot 38 1/2% from 3...too high They made an extra 2 shots ...and there is your difference in the game....add in some poor FT shooting (52%...another 5 pts missing) and we should have won this game pretty easy.. But just like the Santa Clara game from a few years ago, these things happen especially to a young team (the team that played Santa Clara was also young) We are now at a B rating. Not all of that was the loss to TAMCC (now C rated) Other factors ...SIU & ISU both down to C,...other teams playing better teams than us (and winning). Is the season over? No. Do we need major surgery? No...We just need to win the next couple of games (read that as ...beat Miss St) and we will be back on track (B+) Probably the most important line in the TAMCC thread was when I was explaining what D+ meant in referring to TAMCC. "....If we have a bad night then D+ means that TAMCC is good enough to beat us"... That's what happened ...time to learn from that (defend the 3 ..protect the ball (13 TO's) and make some foul shots.) and move on.. Which brings us to this game....NCA&T an F team. Not just an F team but one of the worst Div 1 teams in the nation in one of the weakest conferences in the nation. The MEAC (pronounced meek) is the 2nd worst conference in the country They have a C team, a few D's amd the rest F's. No this isn't just an F team , this is one of the worst D-1 teams we have played in a few years. For the nervous Nellies who say...what if and how about TAMCC...Just stop it....the difference between a D+ team and an F team is if you have a bad night a D+ team can rise up and beat you. If you have a bad night against an F team, yoiu still win. I am not going to post the "what we need to do to win " numbers. As Nike says.....Just do it
jimbofive
or bills lose by 6 again to some as.shole loser team. that was a bad, bad loss. only good part of it was roby playing well for the most part and john jordan throwing down that nasty ass dunk on us. they better blow this team out of the fuoking water. hsmith19
I made fun of the way their bench blew up after the dunk as if they'd just sealed a win, considering they were still down by six or seven at that point. But the Bills looked like crap from pretty much that moment on, so I guess they got the last laugh.
slufan13
Not to bring this up again, but do you guys expect this game to be played tomorrow following the grand jury announcement tonight?

MB73
Not to bring this up again, but do you guys expect this game to be played tomorrow following the grand jury announcement tonight? It is more than possible that the game will be postponed/canceled if the officer is acquitted.

hsmith19
It is more than possible that the game will be postponed/canceled if the officer is acquitted. El Oh El. Sounds like somebody got some more faulty intel. Hint: an "acquittal" does not factor into the grand jury process in any way, shape, or form. To answer the question: YES. No way the game doesn't get played.

JMM28
SLU should win this one easily. This is not a very good team.

Westy03
Over/under 5,000 in attendance tomorrow night given this decision. I'm going under.
billiken class of 15
Over/under 5,000 in attendance tomorrow night given this decision. I'm going under. Would've been low attendance anyway. Cold weather, bad opponent, most students will be gone on Thanksgiving break
BigMouthBilliken
Under. 2,000 max
Dwayne's_World
Under. 2000-3000 or so. St. Louis is full of chicken littles. If most people can't even show up in time for tip off, I doubt they'll even show up at all to this one.....
JMM28
SLU reports tickets sold so it's going to be the normal amount in that regard. From there the amateur crowd counting will take over. I doubt it makes much of a difference in attendance.

BigMouthBilliken
Not to turn this back into all that political crap but the average fan is NOT showing up tomorrow regardless. Buildings and cars burning, stores looted. No way people will come from the burbs
Dwayne's_World
Yep, Grand is being shut down, protestors marching up the street. No way any "casual fan" shows tomorrow... But I will be there if it is played.
NY_Tom
Normal turnout... Tues before Thanksgiving turnout... few students since on break... The 'chicken littles' are the ones posting doom & gloom. Regarding BASKETBALL, it would be nice not to see 9% perimeter passing like there are NO plays... Set the pick before you roll, run the lane w/o the ball, sheesh
slu72
When CC went into that matchup zone, it threw us for a loop. We looked lost. Am sure this will be addressed in the film sessions.
