Recruit (1/7)

  1. It is the red cedar or something along those lines. I warn you though, those jack asses are some of the biggest pricks on the internet.
  2. I'm not saying that y'all defense wasn't outstanding but we did miss a bunch of open shots.
  3. We didn't really press much at all. We had moments with like 2 guys in the backcourt but actually pressing and putting pressure on the ball was a different story.
  4. The best coached part is by hanging you guys guards back. We didn't run because we never could. Y'all kept the court spread but when there was a TO, and y'all had plenty, your guards were back and we couldn't run. Otherwise we run the whole game off rebounds and turns.
  5. I judge teams by Kenpom. His site had us pretty even. I thought it would be close all game and we would pull away late. That is pretty much what happened except it was y'all and not us.
  6. When that desperation 3 banked in at the end of the first half I had a bad feeling but when that shot clock beater from deep went in midway through the 2nd half I just knew it was you guys night. Both your and our D was fantastic. Why we abandon our press is beyond me.
  7. Bad part is that when we did actually start passing the ball our open guys just couldn't hit anything....same could be said for some of you guys layups in the first half too though I guess.
  8. That isn't good for you either. We do that better than you guys. http://statsheet.com/mcb/teams/compare?t1-season=2011-2012&t1-type=1&t1=memphis&t2=saint-louis
  9. Oh I love downtown STL. My wife and I, when we first were married, talked about moving and starting life somewhere else. We talked about either Nashville, St. Louis, or San Diego (a stretch). Had she not become pretty ill shortly thereafter we likely would have moved. May still do it some day. But we loooove St. Louis...and Missouri for that matter. Spent some time in Joplin back in July (I know, other side of the state) but I now have a special place in my heart for that city.
  10. Memphis is just like any large city. Generally there are area's of the city that you know that you have no need to go. I lived in Memphis for 10 years and only had 1 thing happen (house break in). That can, and does, happen anywhere. I know not to go in Orange Mound at night. To the root of the "safety" issue though, I have never felt unsafe walking around in Memphis at night.
  11. Oh, I knew y'all would let me have it before I registered. We are all fans and all bias.
  12. They have to say the name of the player they are passing to before they pass as well.
