Recruit (1/7)

  1. He is soft. It would be nice to see him actually get to the block and either put one of the glass with a post move "To The Basket" or dunk the ball.
  2. he gets in foul trouble from not being ready to play hard. He gets himself out of position because he doesn't work and just gets lazy hack fouls.
  3. is puzzling? He is soft and doesn't play hard. That is a fact not an opinion.
  4. a 7 footer getting 5 - 6 rebounds against players 6 inches smaller than him.
  5. and the stumbles of this season rests on his Average - Non aggressive play There is nothing worst than watching a guy not go for a loose ball. He does it all the time. and let's not forget these stellar 5 and 6 rebound games against guys about 6 inches smaller than him.
  6. How could he know that the big guy that could make millions of dollars if he played well would decide to NOT TRY.
  7. It seems like he just doesn't care. He regressed from last year. No Passion - No Heart - Settles for average play Go get a rebound - How about taking the ball to the basket. He is one of the biggest disappointments in the college area basketball local scene in a long time. (2 State Teams) He went from being a clutz to a being a very good player to being an average player. I don't know if I have ever seen such a roller coster. It is his play that has tanked the season and it probably is costing him big money and will cost his coach a coaching career at St. Louis University.
  8. The Billikens need to get the local talent on the team.
  9. Why did they not recruit Hansbrough? He would be a big help right now!
  10. but most likely Ramsey was being objective. The home team in college basketball gets so many calls that I am surprised this hasn't been investigated. The Billikens get more calls than most. That much is obvious.
  11. he said Ken Griffey Junior couldn't play anymore. He didn't have a clue that he had like 35 HR's, 100 RBI's, and a 300 average because he doesn't pay attention to what is going on. Slaten recently said that he doesn't want to play good defense in college basketball. His comments were: As long as my guys can score, why worry about defense. And Finally his comments are consistently inconsistent. I remember him saying that you can't hold the fact that Stewart couldn't get to a final four against him. Yet, when there is a player or coach that he doesn't like, he will go straight to the argument that they have never won a championship. (i.e. Dan Marino, Mike Martz) Changing your arguments and logic in this manner causes him to lose credibility You can disagree with his logic, but when his logic is all over the place to serve his needs at that particular time, you realize that: His arguments do not really mean anything because the next debate he will use the exact opposite approach to try to make his point.
