NSCAA (coaches): SLU 6th (down 8; this is pretty big leap for the coaches poll)

Top Shelf (website): SLU 11th (down 8)

College Soccer News (website): SLU 5th (down 6)

Soccer America (website): SLU 6th (down 1)

Soccer Times (coaches): SLU 12th (out Thursdays or so)

Ken Massey (computer): SLU 20th (down 3)

Bennett computer ranks SLU at 40th (down 17!;no link and I only mention it to show how bad poorly conceived computer work can be-although computers at least allow you to fix your lousy seed method with actual data).

Good to get wins; It is always tough in NCAA to get a win against road/neutral opponents (particularly when teams play for the tie). Need to get by Evansville as well tomorrow.

SLU up 1-0 on Raymond Lee goal after bad giveaway by Evansville and hit shot from 16 yds out. SLU being outshot 5-2 and Aces have 4 corners to our 0 thus far. Sounds like a tough game but nice to finish chances. 10 to go in the first half. Appears Adnan got the start but didn't make it through first half as Kristo came on with 17 to go.

Dating back to last game we've scored 2 goals in roughly 220 minutes. Is Graydon still playing Defensive Mid? If so, that needs to change quickly. You can't always compare box scores but Cincinnati did beat Evansville 2-0. We beat Cincy 4-0. No reason why that game should have even gone to OT.

I was hoping you wouldn't say it was a Robson issue. That is simply a glaring hole on our team, absent the fact Graydon could play there but is much more suited in a more dynamic role sitting behind our forwards. His primary job should not be gaining possession of the ball back and distributing it safely to our players; it should be about the transition forward into the attack and servicing our strikers and wings. Really don't know how they fix that with our current crop of players.

loss anyway you look at it. Better that it is on the road but still......

Graydon shouldn't be playing defensive mid and he does push up sometimes, but I've seen him just pass the ball backwards to Tyler David way too many times. He may not be able to push forward constantly, but I'm so tired of seeing him actually go backwards with the ball when no one is around.

This...not enough attacking.
