Bizziken Posted March 25, 2015 Share Posted March 25, 2015 If Crews wanted all the freshmen to stay then fine - this is his call, he will either float with them/his decision or sink. As far as the 2 juniors - one can only hope they get their act together. AY - he should be better but it will take more than just him. I do think it is fair to say that the freshmen will be better prepared mentally for what to expect and will be able to accept more instruction on the way Crews wants the game played. This summer may be the most important aspect for improvement for next year. I am still not sure what to do with the 2 schollies - i really want some more balance in the classes so this does not happen again. I'm interested to see how our PG situation develops. I know a lot of people think that the development of our Bigs is the key to our success (and it certainly is). But offensively we won't improve much unless someone takes over that critical PG role. As it stands right now, Bartley seems like the most likely to develop into our starting PG next season...hopefully Reynolds can also bring something to the table too. When he played against the Bonnies a couple of years ago at the Reilly Center, I thought " Wow, another great player from So Cal playing in the A10 " !!! I wish him all the best. I thought that Anaheim Tourney was pretty good. Gave us the chance to beat the crap out three BCS teams. Last week I looked and about 75% were full, the ones with sports left I had never heard of. The one in LA 3 years back what a decent one. I know Nova was there.
