  1. We had a former Duke assistant by the name of Jeff Mullins in the 80's and 90's that brought Charlotte basketball back from the dead. He got us to the NCAA tournament on a consistent basis and into CUSA. After him we had Melvin Watkins who was on the UNCC final four team in 1977 who also had a great deal of success. Enough success at least to get him big money at Texas A&M. He didn't do much there however. Lutz certainly didn't build Charlotte basketball into anything, he simply sustained what Mullins and Watkins built for a few years until everything came crashing down in the last few years.
  2. I feel that it is since its actually categorized by team instead of everything on one page, but I guess that's all a matter of opinion. It just needs more fans. I still have plenty of teams to let know though. I'm really hoping once the main site goes up and basketball season comes around everything will take off. I figure there is no better time to start on it than in the off season.
  3. ...for a new A-10 site. I'm certainly not trying to take any fans away from this site, I'm certainly not leaving behind ninernation.net This is just a site I'm creating for the A-10 as a whole and would like to make it a community effort. I am looking for people from each team that would be willing to blog for their team when the basketball season starts. The site (which hasn't launched entirely yet) will be called A10talk.com. So far there is a forum up, but the main site will still be a couple of weeks away. Here is a preview of what the site will look like: http://webpages.uncc.edu/~rmworkma/index2.html For now, the forum needs fans from each team. So far only Charlotte, Xavier, Duquesne, and GW are represented and would love to have some SLU fans come on over as well. The forum can be reached through the link provided above or at http://a10talk.proboards.com Like I said, I'm not spamming to take members from here, would just like to create a better common ground than the current A-10 forum. The A-10 needs a community for its fans that goes beyond a generic basketball forum that caters to everyone from NBA to JuCo. Again, I hope to see some of you guys there! Niner National
