3star_recruit
Javon Pickett is a 6'4 175 lb small forward who can get to the rack, shoot the three and find the open man. Rebounds well for a skinny kid. Has had a good AAU season so far. At the rate he's improving, he has a chance to be an impact player as a freshman. kshoe
The people that Brian posted are the realistic targets... Hardly. We only have two schollys to give. Yess, Tillmon and Goodwin are probably the top targets and Yess and Goodwin are very realistic. The others are likely plan Bs and plan Cs. The others are likely plan Bs and plan Cs. 3 with the open one from Tatum going to the NBA. But I do agree with this, Yess they offered awhile ago and keep in constant contact and Goodwin has said SLU is recruiting him hard so I would think those are the top 2 realistic. Maybe we'll just keep recycling one scholarship with local one and done's and get Tillmon too.

RiseAndGrind
Like seeing SLU mentioned with so many kids. Calbert & Crew must have been working the phones all day yesterday. As someone mentioned above, I'm guessing the current scholarships are being offered/reserved for Yess, Goodwin, & Tillmann. Just trying to get on the radars of everyone else. The Trae Young mention is just funny. He's going to be a McDonald's All American and has already stated he wants to play with Michael Porter in college. 3star_recruit
however i would take all four of the althoff kids (goodwin, ferguson, gooch and bateman) before him. The only kids being offered ahead of them are quality bigs, which are in short supply, and 2018 Torrence Watson, who will have multiple offers from top 50 programs by this time next year. Top 50 programs are all taking a wait and see approach with Goodwin. They may be all wrong but coaches in the top conferences expect their guards to score outside the paint. If he doesn't develop that skill, kids like McKissic and Pickett may move right by him. Bateman is going to be a good Valley sharpshooter in two years. Gooch has a chance to go higher if he waits until spring. I suspect Ferguson has academic issues. His offers don't match his talent.

I will probably be a cliff diver until I have reason not to...

Like Elliott Welmer, whose uncle Steve Welmer frequently officiated SLU games, his uncle is a regular official at Chaifetz, William Thatstheworstcalliveeverseenearl.
