Recruit (1/7)

  1. I am disappointed in home attendance in the past two games.
  2. Picks up the ball, rotates, then takes two steps. My inability to cope with referee incompetence is causing me unnecessary stress. Can anyone recall ever seeing a referee who makes the same calls consistently at a SLU game?
  3. Clearly a body control foul on that and-1 play involving Barry.
  4. Considering last seasons result against Kent State (doubled up 81-40) today's game is an improvement and has considerably increased my hopes and expectations for the rest of the season, particularly conference play. A few complaints from the game: 1. The crowd was too small and unenthusiastic (until late). 2. Lack of defensive adjustments. ( 2008 Mid American Conference Player of the Year should have been double teamed or guarded by Tommie) P.S. Conklin is a dirty player and I like it.
  5. I reckon it was stolen by Al Qaeda. GODDAMN TERRORISTS!
  6. I feel like someone who has been stabbed in the stomach with a prison shiv.
  7. if we show the ticket office ticket stubs do we get loyalty points, because i've got like 30

  8. My email response. Billiken Ticket Office, Blue Crew Members should not get 25 loyalty points unless they can prove they actually attend games. Everyone who attends games knows that the vast majority of Blue Crew Members do not attend games. It would be a disservice to all loyal (student) Billiken fans that actually attend games on a regular basis to give the entire Blew Crew special treatment for being fair weather fans. Ticket stubs should receive more than just a single loyalty point. Sincerely, John Ludwig Mudge
  9. Dear fellow Billiken, The inaugural Billiken basketball season in Chaifetz Arena is quickly approaching. The Billiken Ticket Office is now accepting student season ticket requests. If you would like to reserve your 2008-2009 men’s basketball season tickets, please visit the link below and fill out the information completely. The $135.00 charge for your tickets and Blue Crew membership will be applied to your fall tuition bill: http://slubillikens.cstv.com/tickets/ChaifetzStudent.html Now is the time to make history and be a part of the inaugural season ticket class! Also, please note the new men’s basketball student ticket policy. All eligible students will have the opportunity to reserve and purchase 2008-2009 season tickets. However, if demand exceeds supply, the Loyalty Distribution System is automatically initiated. The Loyalty Distribution System is designed to allow the most loyal and committed Billiken fans to have the best chance to obtain season tickets. Priority will be given to returning Blue Crew members and student season ticket holders. Furthermore, all students that redeemed individual game tickets during the previous season will receive loyalty points in the new student loyalty point system. Loyalty points will be based on the following loyalty point structure: -Blue Crew Members – 25 points total -Season Ticket Holders – 20 points total -Individual game ticket redemption for non-Blue Crew member or season ticket holders– 1 point per redeemed ticket If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact the Billiken Ticket Office at (314) 977-4SLU or by email at [email protected].
  10. A billiken's head super-imposed onto Bruce Cambell's body from the Army Of Darkness movie poster.
  11. The new arena is going to do wonders for midtown and building a community around SLU's campus. It will be an upgrade from the oasis that SLU used to be in the middle of a rather desolate urban area.
  12. Did anyone notice how incredibly loud Vanderbilt's Memorial Gym was during the Tennessee game? It was insanely loud. Lets hope we can make some noise like that in Chaifetz and have a real "sixth man".
