Been following the Bills

Recommended Posts

Aaron Hines is a kid (6.0' 170 lbs) who went to Parkway North and played JUCO for a year. He is small and scrappy, when he was a walk on he did put a lot of effort into the pregame practices and apparently did the same during the last summer season. We will see how he works out, I hope he does well. He certainly has put enough effort in getting this scholarship.

for almost 40 years and have not seen less excitement and anticipation for the team in many years. Hope the team surprises all. But not expecting anything but a very average team. Comments???

You must have forgotten the Ron Coleman and Ron Ekker years, 1977-1982. The program almost died, kaput, toast. Zero buzz around town.

I wasn't following on the Internet back then, or the Billiken.com board, but I doubt their was anywhere near the number of posts as there are now. Oh wait, that would have been before Al Gore invented the Internet.

No I have not, but dam, we can't go that low. Watched Louis McKinney at 6'4" lead bad, pitiful teams with 2000 in attendance.

Before Welmer's injury, we had a shot at 16-18 wins. With him out, count on another losing season, maybe we get to 14 wins. Just got to hope for progress and being more competitive with a turnaround in '16-17.

Really think this season will be determined by how Crews deals with his rotations. If we're juggling lineups and subs like we did last year we're screwed. You can't keep putting so many different combinations out there and expect them somehow to be hitting on all cylinders. Even the players supposedly went to him and said shorten the rotations. If they didn't get many minutes, fine, just figure out who's the 7 or 8 guys that give us the best chance to win.

If you think a FR, let alone a Bills FR big, is worth 2-4 wins before the season has started... You haven't been paying attention to Bills basketball in awhile

Paid close attention to the Bahamas trip and liked what I saw from EW. He's got some upside that our bigs from last year don't. We needed him in the rotation and instead minutes will go to a player not up to the task. It'll cost us some games.
