bonwich
Correction, Wing Ding. This was posted on the StLToday.com site by my pal Joe Holleman. For the fifth year, United Cerebral Palsy Heartland will host its "St. Louis Wing Ding" fundraiser, beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday at Greensfelder Arena in Queeny Park. This year, 22 restaurants will compete in various categories: traditional; specialty; dry-rubbed; hottest; and best overall. There also is a people’s choice award. The list of celebrity judges includes: social media mogul Chris Reimer; Gabe Hartwig, Dan Neman and yours truly of the Post-Dispatch; George Mahe and Joe Bonwich of St. Louis Magazine; Terry Black of Super Smokers BBQ; and radio personalities Guy Phillips, Howard Balzer and Joe Roderick. Tickets are $25 or $45 in advance, and $30/$50 on the day of the event. For more information go to the charity website or call 636-779-2253. Tonka
This should be headlined by Joe Bonwich as he is the only real local celebrity I see listed. Make sure Guy Phillips doesn't try and grab your ding ding, Joe.
bonwich
I was just noting that Gus and I may end up at the same table. That could be interesting.
DeSmetBilliken
Piece of advice: don't bring up him calling Dwayne Evans "Dwight". He isn't very receptive to such criticism.

So I also shouldn't point out what Yacoubou's name is, either?

Box and Won
I bet he starts calling you Joe Bandwidth. Joe Bonbon. Joe Bonscott. Joe Bonvoyage. There are myriad possibilities.
DeSmetBilliken
So I also shouldn't point out what Yacoubou's name is, either? Probably not.

bonwich
Joe, just tell him "It is always nice to see you, Guy.". What, and contradict eight years of Jesuit education?
brianstl
What, and contradict eight years of Jesuit education? I meant to type Gus. I totally screwed it up. I will just add it to the growing list of screw ups I had today.
