Recruit (1/7)

  1. >Between 6.5 and 7.5 hours to Manhattan from IL. Thats not soo bad I guess, it must be farther from Kansas city than I had thought.
  2. Oh dont worry! The red and black clothes in the closet arent going anywhere.
  3. Roughly how long does it take to get to Manhattan from our side of the river?
  4. I just got off the phone with Taj, he wants to join us for KState vs Mizzou :-)
  5. There was a guy to our right, and roughly 5 rows down who got in trouble for standing up with about 1-2 minutes left. He turned to the two ladies behind him and said "Youre at a basketball game, stand up and cheer".....Then Lisch hit the 3......everyone stands up, he turns to the ladies and said "Come on, I know you can do it" and the ushers were called on the guy.
  6. No, 5 years ago I would say the same.
  7. Gus Johnson, who I think is great at calling games (Although when he gets excited he screams like a wild animal) said Morrison was the best player in D1 hoops after he hit that game winner against Ok St. I disagree, I said it before last night, and believe it more afterwards, I would take Rudy Gay over Morrison any day of the week.
  8. Armein Kirkland for Tommie Lidell. In fact I'll trade you every Bearcat not named Hicks,White or Downey for him. I can only imagine the great things he's going to be doing when he's a senior. Kevin too.
  9. What a jerk! A program has a few years of success and now their players think theyre a national power. I got news for you Adam, you play for Gonzaga, not Duke, Not North Carolina, Not Uconn etc. Your mid major school plays in a mid major conference, I would love to see Gonzaga play in the Big Ten,Big East,Acc or SEC and see what kind of record they put up each year. It wont be long, and the Gonzaga "super-cool trend" will die off, and the Zags will return to where they came from.
  10. Mrs Nati and I have a date with the UC Bearcats and Syracuse Orange on 1/14. You, Steve and Slu nick are more than welcome to join in on the fun. The cats are staating to get the hang of things right now. Lots of new faces so it will take a bit longer, Its a shame Nancy had to ruin things but we shall return! Atlantic City? Oh no, you dont want me there. We'd likely not even make it to a single game. How about if you just come to St Louis next year, then join myself, Roy, Vtime,Aj,Skip,Kevin Footes and a whole bunch of other people when the Cats invade the Illinois State redbirds!
  11. Im pulling for Tommie to make Adam look silly. Roy just laughs at me. Hey Taj, you going to the game? Im kinda thirsty.
  12. says different in regards to Mayo. "O.J. Mayo: Mayo, a 6-6 point guard, is the LeBron James of the class of 2007 -- so clearly above his peers that there hasn't been a serious challenger to his throne since he was in eighth grade. Mayo, who will be 19 when he graduates from North College Hill (Ohio) High outside Cincinnati, surely won't want to turn 20 in prep school. Which means he has two choices: Start considering a college, or spend this summer reclassifying himself for the class of 2006. Bob Huggins: The Cincinnati coach has been undermined by president Nancy Zimpher, who has limited his contract through the 2006-07 season -- but our guess is Huggins will land Mayo for 2007-08. And if Huggins lands Mayo, Zimpher will be fired before Bob Huggins." Full story can be found here http://www.sportsline.com/collegebasketball/story/8586708
  13. Dont think that I was just being kind to do the powerwashing. Nothing comes for free. Guess who's going to be at my house in a week or so to paint my unborn child's bedroom? I'll give you a hint...it isnt me.
