was it his right shoulder, again? From where I sit he dislocated it at least twice in games rebounding much earlier in the season- I hope he has a better surgeon than Jaime Garcia

Take it from someone who knows .... surgery is about the only thing that will help now. If this is two separations, third time is the charm. As soon as the season is over, I'd have it done so he can rehab all summer.

If there are any positives to get out of this, at least he is left-handed. Also, hopefully he can spend his rehab time developing his lower body and come back as a tank next year. He probably already was the most physically well developed freshman I have seen at SLU and now he can use this set of circumstances to improve on that

Going to have to side with Taj on this one. They will give you all the exercises in the world to build up the muscles to hold that shoulder in, but once that ligament is stretched, it doesn't stretch back. Get the surgery and rehab. He'd be right as rain next season.

Agreed. Also, Backhand has some great supplements to speed up the recovery time.

What does right as rain really mean?

Reggie is going to be a stud. I hope he keeps his chin up and doesn't get down over his lack of playing time. Outside of injuries, he did look way behind on defense (probably a result of injuries).

I thought that I read (probably on here) that Reggie is only playing his 3rd or 4th year of organized basketball. If that is true, with his athleticism, he will be very good.

The bad thing for this season is that, again, with his athleticism, he is very valuable in practice to bang with Dwayne, Grandy, Rob, Rammer, etc. Helps prepare them for athletic competition.

pull through? he's got a separated shoulder, not lupus.

It's all in the interpretation. Pull through, as in down the stretch. I'm hoping he can make the right decisions for his health and physical wellness that would benefit both himself and the team the best, for the sake of the near future of the program. In the beginning of the year I had hoped he would be able to give us a couple ppg and rpg by conference play but he's had so much difficulty staying healthy. We might as well have Derrick Rose...
