Billikenbooster Posted July 21, 2014 Share Posted July 21, 2014 Is anyone else concerned that the team isn't going on a summer 'tour' to be able to get extra practices and games in during the summer, with all the new faces on the team this year. Remember how much bonding there was in RMs first year when they all went up to Canada for a 4-5 game swing? I certainly remember certain posters freaking out about those losses and assuming we wouldn't have a good year because of them. As for them not making the dance, well those darn NCAA rules that only allow NCAA teams to participate may have been a contributing factor... They are a dynasty now (calling them the "Duke of Canada" is an insult as they are much better than that). They are 16-18 at home against summer visitors from the U.S NCAA D1 (last year they beat Wisconsin and their fans freaked out). They go down to the US to play preseason exhibitions against D-1 teams but have not won any of those (last year lost to Cincy and the year before to LaSalle and Villanova).
