  1. Congrats, Bills. This program should be a priority for our university. Falling behind the A10 is unacceptable. There's too much talent and interest in the area for a mediocre program. Tonight, was an encouraging step in the right direction. I'd love SLU to be a MBB, MSOC, VB powerhouse. It's not too much to expect from our university.
  2. It is hard to be a Billiken. I'm a newbie, as I graduated in 2008, but I believe our Bills are worth fighting for. As an aside, it will take me a longtime to get over the law school debacle, but I'm here to cheer on our Bills. I came to SLU based on my amazing Jesuit experience at Creighton. Many of my classmates/colleagues came from Jesuit universities across the country. Thinking about my class, we had people from Georgetown, Fordham, Creighton, Seattle, Gonzaga, Spring Hill, Loyola-Chicago, Loyola-New Orleans, Loyola-Marymount, Santa Clara, Rockhurst, SLU, and probably several others. There was a general feeling amongst us, that SLU was VERY different from our undergrad (Jesuit) experiences. It's also important to realize our students don't come from the dredges. In fact, one of my best friends from SLU came to us from U Chicago. We also had several Ivy League educated piers. Our top student/graduation speaker went to Kenyon College and had a PhD. before coming to SLU. The law school isn't a throw-away program. D***it. We have nothing to be scared of. Period. Cheers. Go Bills.
  3. First post. I couldn't agree more. The last month at SLU has been horrendous. As a law grad, I vote no confidence for Father Biondi and for our new law dean: http://molawyersmedi...ondis-butt-boy/ Pathetic!!! We surrendered a MD, JD for this? Her resignation letters ring more true as the days pass... Striving to be the finest Jesuit university? Perhaps a Jesuit should be running our university, first.
