Recruit

Recruit (1/7)

  1. Definitely UW woke up a bit late out there today, don't know that it would have made a difference with your solid D. Cheers to a great game, best of luck the rest of the year.
  2. +1 -- don't worry if UW loses we'll be ready to call it a year, fire Romar, and flush the high profile recruits on the Washington board. Until we win the next game then love fest all over again.
  3. Definitely your defense is going to be key. If you hold UW under 60 you will definitely win, if you hold UW under 70 you will probably win. Above 70 and I think you are in trouble.
  4. Here's the video against the non-D2 white guys + Ginger -- although they also have a ginger. BTW - that D2 team beat Arizona in their other exhibition game.
  5. FYI - here's the other video with highlights from this year: Unfortunately the Gerogia State and Florida Atlantic games weren't televised so not much out there.
  6. I think the key here is how well they handle our defense. It's not like we try to sprint on every offensive play - we play tight pressure man 2 man and attack the passing lanes. Defense leads to our pace much more than the other teams defense in my opinion.
  7. Conklin and Ross have some history which should be fun to see how well they remember each other. Ross's team at Jefferson when Ross was a Soph. knocked out Conklin's team on the way to the state championship. The Sr. Conklin got 11 points to the Soph. Ross's 20. Definitely too bad that Scott Suggs can't play in this game as I'm sure that was a large part of why UW is coming to SLU.
  8. we seem to have done pretty well at getting former football players into media jobs now...definitely quite the range of talent there. Personally I think Brock Huard and Ed Cunningham are the best.
  9. Another Husky fan here. Saw on some of the other posts you guys were looking to find our message boards. The most active one is here: http://washington.scout.com Looking forward to the game, here's to a injury free solid effort from both sides!
