Recruit

Recruit (1/7)

  1. It is the 2012=2012 Lindy's . I purchased it today.
  2. ..has hit the stands. On the front are players from Mizzou and Kansas BUT..in a bordered column they list their top ten...SLU #9 Nationally. Good to Great coverage inside. FYI Missouri come in at #19. I got it at a Walmart.
  3. So close... yet scooped by 2 minutes by the Cheeseman!
  4. The gus on KFNS have just said that the deal is done with Ric M. and there will be a press conference today or tommorrow. They are congratulating SLU regarding the hire. Hopefully their sources are correct!
  5. Should Lance Stemler go to Indiana, does anyone have a sense of our 'Plan B"? Also..unlike our more recent recruits TL, KL, and Knollmeyer, Stemler would not be playing in the new building before he would leave. This afternonn Ath. Dir. Levick said it will take 22 months from groundbreaking to completion for the building to be ready, with graduation 2008 probably the first event in the building. So the past problems of recruiting a kid to practice in the venerable West Pine Gym and play off campus may still have been a factor. Thank God that won't be the case in the near future with any of our recruits!
  6. The game will be on Charter on the CCIN channel. They are picking up the ESPN regional coverage of the game. If someone already posted this I did not see it, so I hope this is useful!
  7. Ahh...the first indication that basketball season in coming ever closer...Athlon College Basketball Yearbook is out now..I got mine at Walgreens. Very nice full page article/coverage of the Billikens perdicting a middle of the pack CUSA finiosh and an NIT bid...maybe more.
  8. Here is an address for links to the other A 10 Schools and associated sites. Hope they're useful! www.angelfire.com/oh4/a10bballlinks/
  9. 20 year season ticket holder, attended SLU grad school. Fom Buffalo, New York came to SLU and worked in residence life and was director of Student Life while Rich Grawer came on board and started to change the program. Was able to work closely with the athletic dept. during those exciting days and have loved the program ever since. I'm very happy with the A-10 as I grew up a Bonnie fan . Have been to Olean N.Y. to see games in the 'pit'at Bonaventure. It is a tough road trip for any team to take let alone win. With the new conference affiliation and a new building the pieces for growth are falling into place!
