Speaking of the NIL money: In todays article about Missouri looking at the Memphis AD they mentioned that Fed Ex has given their NIL 25 million. Sure would be nice if one of our corporate giants would step up with anything close to this.

Guy this was 2 years ago. Since then the Missouri legislature has passed a law allowing schools to become involved with the NIL process. I don’t believe they can contribute to it but can be involved with coordinating who gets what. Missouri was heavily involved with its passage.

Almost all municipal bonds are issued with a 10 year call feature. Thus these bonds could have been refinanced durring a period of low rates. Hopefully this was done.

You don't turn bonds back in. You sell them on the open market. Now you have to make money available for a predetermined maturity schedule or refinance.

When I get my annual gifting statement from the university they list the individual donations and only discount the golf tournament. $500 fee gets you a $350 deduction. They do not discount my Billiken Club donation.
