Need A New Face for Billiken Head Job

Maybe they have come to an agreement that Jim steers the ship for 2-3 years but grooms a successor? Or maybe Jim has taken the job.... shock and awe! -

Yes, since McGlade has stated before that 12 teams was ideal for them. -

Avis loves me actually. Tried to get me to run for editor-in-chief but school commitments kept me from doing it. I just stare at my many state and regional journalism awards instead. It's how I sleep at night. -

Speak as both. Not authorized to use the facts, which aren't much greater than what's been said publicly. I am not suggesting SLU isn't trying. Indeed I'd agree they are very much active and not sitting on their hands, as some have suggested. I am simply stating, based off what I know and what I perceive to be, that this is as serious as a situation as can get. If SLU is not allowed entry into the BE, because of circumstances outside their control, so be it. But if it's found otherwise, there must be consequences. Since I've relegated my position as beat writer for the team and publish only my opinions, I feel I am free to say this. And, I remain optimistic. Two major decisions await Chris May and Larry Biondi. I have confidence in both men to make wise and appropriate decisions. I may be talking in circles, but, they must be held responsible for their decisions by the fan base and media. You can't overstate how much of a make-or-break 2013 is for Saint Louis U. -

They have had 10 years to plan for this. The whole move to the A10 was to move to the Big East when it split, which is now. If SLU does not complete this move, it is an utter failure of leadership at all levels and said parties must be held responsible. I may be burning bridges by saying that, but it is truly how I feel. -

Laughable. If SLU isn't in BE by July 1, 2014, May and Biondi should be let go. No excuse. NONE. -
Was hoping Gregg Marshall. But no more, I fear.

Where is the NCAA March to Atlanta shirt found at? I've seen people wearing it, but I didn't see it in the Chaifetz store.

. Agreed, but Tom Timm tweeted to look for it, so that's encouraging.

Burwell will have news in his column tomorrow AM, which may be posted online shortly after midnight.

Butler officially out of A10 per Indy beat writer David Woods. Filed papers with league today, and Big East has extended invitation.

In Biondi's last letter, I thought he said its the most profitable of its size in North America. That's not including basketball games.
