okay great!

can we get some bio info, position, stats, you-tubes?

Thanks

He is a 6'5-6'6 small forward from Zion, Illinois. He appears to have a pretty good offensive skill set, but does not look very explosive/athletic. Based on the limited tape I would say a guy with mid major athleticism and a high major skill set maybe? The guy put up huge numbers offensively in high school. I found this on him and it seems to be in line with what I saw.

Milik Yarbrough, Zion-Benton - Yarbrough recently became Lake County's all-time leading scorer, but he's still without a college basketball home for next season. The 6-foot-6 Yarbrough can really put up points at the high school level, but college coaches and scouts have struggled to place Yarbrough at the next level because they wonder how he'll adjust to the highest level of college basketball. Yarbrough gets a lot of high school buckets scoring against smaller and weaker opponents but is he good enough going left or strong enough in his work ethic to be a high-level scorer at a BCS school? Yarbrough claims scholarship offers from Auburn, Iowa, Minnesota, Saint Louis and Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Bradley has been involved a bit as well.

Thanks Chosen. I just checked Verbal Commits web site and he looks like great catch. Reminds me of DE with an outside shot.

Well, this may dash my hopes of Nolan Berry transferring to SLU, but I've been excited about the possibility of Yarbrough coming to SLU since I first heard of SLU recruiting him in January or February.

My analysis is this: based on YouTube highlight videos I've seen (which probably should be taken with a grain of salt), you might able to make the argument that he is DE with a better outside shot. I think he could be a 3, or maybe even a tall 2. Depending on how the staff wants to use him, they could have him bulk up to around DE level, or they could keep him around 200-210 lbs to play him in more of a guard position. Regardless, he can fill up the score sheet.

Didn't know of a ton of other recruiting prospects for SLU, but I thought he was the best option, especially at the high school level.

He seems to have good size and ball skills. Fits a need perfectly in terms of size and skill set. Not overly quick in videos but we can't judge that truly until we see him play. Character/maturity issues have been mentioned online, but I don't too much stock in those for an 18 yr-old.

It was mentioned that some weren't sure he'd qualify academically...that said, I assume all of those issues checked out.

The story I heard was that he really busted ass in class to get his academics in order this year.

I wonder if his D will be good enough for him to contribute early though.

This caused a bunch of schools to pull out of his recruitment, but I've been told he's expected to qualify

I guess those who know are the ones saying that SLU is not dropping off the A10 map anytime soon! He is an excellent pickup by Crews and staff.
