kwyjibo Posted November 22, 2015 Share Posted November 22, 2015 The women won on at Mercer 68-60. Down 41-36 at the end of the 3rd quarter they rolled in the last quarter. Mercer and Tulsa are decent wins but this team will not play any top 200 teams until conference starts (at Memphis should be a decent test though). Dayton should be ranked soon (killed Wisconsin today) and I think GW was expected to be the top team as they are ranked 20/22 now. Richmond and Duquesne are off to good starts as well. The biggest impact is the change in foul bonuses--I do not think there is any one and one's and that you go to 2 shoots after the 5th foul in a quarter. I like this idea. All season ticket holders should have coupons to women's game. Somehow the next women's home game is not until December 30th Looking at the conference schedule, I would propose the La Salle game (Jan 23rd. Last year, they had busloads of grade school kids brought in to cheer for the Bills, and I heard from several people that it was a lot of fun.
