Tonka
CBS Sport's Jon Rothstein is picking SLU as the A-10 preseason sleeper and he picks Davell Roby as an A10 breakout guy. http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/eye-on-college-basketball/25243313/five-offseason-questions-atlantic-

WVBilliken
I think SLU will be much better. NCAA better? No. But win half of their A10 games? Yes, very possible. People forget the huge jump some kids have after their freshman years, especially after playing major minutes as sophomores. I look for MY, DR, MB and AG all to make big performance jumps. What this team is missing that the 2011-12 team (when Jett, Evans, McCall, etc. were sophs) had is upper class leadership. Those lost recruiting years at the end of the RM era is still killing this team.
johnbj14
I think that Crawford is going to be an important part of them being a potential sleeper. I can't put my finger on why I feel he is going to have a great year as an upperclassman.

willie
Hope you are right. Need RA to really break out as well.Agreed. We need somebody who can post up and score . At times he has looked great. I hope the reason he hasn't broken out is injury , but he's not a kid. Hopefully a late bloomer.

He is relatively new to basketball.......has all the talent and ability to really break out.

I know it isn't the same thing but NBA players still have development in their 20s so Reggie could too. Granted, he isn't receiving NBA coaching but his age is not as big of a concern as it can be made out to be.
thatdude
I'd love to see some kind of postseason tournament this year. I know the NCAA is probably not in the cards but I would be pretty happy with the NIT or even the CBI/CIT type tournaments.

Quality Is Job 1
That jump did not come until CE came in the middle of the season. Do we have a CE coming? The year that Ellis joined the team in the middle was 2009-10, not the one being discussed.
slubillikens43
Kwamain did come back that year from not playing the year before. Still expecting the team to surprise us this year
