He was the 9 year old member of the team last season who had battled brain tumors and cancer throughout his life. He was beloved by the players and coaches and truly had an impact on the entire SLU community. He passed away last June and his parents started a foundation that raises money for brain cancer research and supports families who have a family member stricken with this disease. Ginger Bay Salon and Spa is doing a contest where you can vote for one of their 10 finalist charities. The charity with the most votes will receive a monetary donation from Ginger Bay (has ranged from 11,000 to 18,000 each year since they started the contest) You can vote for Joshua's Great Things Foundation by going to the link below.
