I have reached billiken_roy levels of posting (7/7)

  1. Has nothing to do with basketball or sports. Enough said by me.
  2. I have 05 on ignore for a year, so I wouldn’t read that.
  3. No one has mentioned Williford. Has he requested out of his NLI? I know nothing about his situation nor his basketball skills.
  4. According to Verbal Commits Transfer list, 1108 are in the portal today and 42 have committed to schools, including those returning to their original school. Their totals change several times per day, so they may be fairly accurate. There will be more enticing entries following the Sweet 16.
  5. 1028 Transfers listed on Verbal Commits this morning. The A10 transfers on their list: 0 - Dusquene, Richmond, VCU 1 - Dayton, GW, Loyola 2 - Fordham 3 - St. Joe 4- SLU 5 - LaSalle, UMass and St. Bonnie 6 - Davidson and Rhode Island
  6. He is on the "contact list" for P5 schools which means $$$ that he wouldn't get here. 43% three point shooters are high priced. The Indy Star reports he has been contacted by IU. And it goes without saying, the chances of Dancing are higher at P5 schools than at Mid's. The next time I talk to Parker will be the first time. I have no idea what his focus might be.....money, big fish in a smaller pond, education, setting career marks on the SLU Career list, smaller roll but with a higher chance at a Dance appearance?
  7. Ware going pro. I already saw that. But a huge thanks for nothing.
  8. I am. And a Butler fan. And an IU fan. (Not so much a Purdue fan.) And a SLU fan. I like basketball.
  9. Back home again in Indiana And it seems that I can see The gleaming candlelight Still burning bright Through the sycamores for me The new-mown hay sends all its fragrance Through the fields I used to roam When I dream about the moonlight on the Wabash How I long for my Indiana home
  10. Our Town's Connor Turnbull transferring from Butler. He was hurt most of this year. He could qualify for a red shirt season, giving him three years eligibility. He showed offensive promise, but had difficulty defending in the Big East. In a very limited sample size, he hit 45% from the arc (14 of 31). https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/college/butler/2024/03/26/butler-bulldogs-basketball-sophomore-connor-turnbull-enters-transfer-portal-roster/73111671007/
  11. The Road to Hinkle goes through Terre Haute. Support the Trees.
  12. The tournament operator is guaranteeing that sponsors and other tournament partners will offer each school a total of $1 million in NIL money for participating. That money will be funneled to collectives, boosters, or other NIL entities, and the coaches and teams will be able to distribute that money however they see fit, as long as the money goes to current players. The winning team will be eligible to earn another $1 million, to be distributed in the same way. Taken from the linked article.
