  1. Think the nations leading three point shooter might fit here? Show him the money
  2. Nice interview by Frank Cusumano. Timing of Schertz decision is interesting. He is complimentary of SLU's selection process. Good stuff on his son. https://x.com/Frank_Cusumano/status/1779986070353887367
  3. Busy couple of weeks ahead for visits This week, Dotzler, Turnbull, Avila, Swope, and Manyawu. Then Newell, DeLoach and McCottry maybe the following week. Interesting mix of players. Manyawu and DeLoach don't shoot threes so the myth of 'must shoot three's' appears to be false. I'm not seeing a battle tested classical point guard in the mix, yet. DeLoach was a bench player at Georgia but had a nice two years at VCU - 10 ppg, 6.9 rpg and 1.4 bpg rim protector.
  4. Played 2 years at VCU. His stats at VCU particularly his second year are decent.
  5. If you want a good chuckle this morning, click on this SNL segment with Caitlin Clark. Watch the entire 4+ min.
  6. Nice graphic by SBUnfurled. He has used his metric for years to evaluate players.
  7. Other offers: St Bonnie, Penn State, Middle TN State and Indiana St. From an article written during his Penn State visit, he said he also had offers from Sam Houston State and Idaho State.
  8. Quick hitter from Stu. We have a 6'11" PF. https://www.stltoday.com/sports/college/slu/josh-schertz-lands-his-first-slu-recruit-as-6-11-max-pikaar-commits/article_c5209078-f9b3-11ee-8002-1fe893c003d0.html Max Pikaar said Schertz’s assistant coaches traveled to see him play in Florida and continued the recruiting. Schertz then scheduled him as the first recruit to visit campus after his hiring last week. Max Pikaar said he is not necessarily a 5-man -- center -- and that he envisions himself playing at the 4 spot a lot.
  9. Eddie Smajic? He is listed on the Vianney roster as a Soph 6'5" G/F. I'll let Pistol file in the blanks on him.
