Coach with Bernie, Wed Show

Recommended Posts

Bernie did ask Coach about the two transfers and whether he expected more. What did you want him to say Bernie? Coach said he really didn't know if any more would leave but that he was impressed with the players in practice yesterday. He said that several are injured and didn't practice (Crawford and Elliott?). His message to the team was that he wants players that are 100% "in". They have another practice today. Coach did say that yes, transfers are part of the scene these days. No word on Assistants or incoming players.

Coach will be at the Cards home opener. (Maybe with recruits?)

never bernie fan. why we couldn't of found someone from this area where we are knee deep historically in talent via big house j school, Bob highland conduit etc has always bugged me. all he ever talks about is people that bother him because they disagree. can't listen to him at all.

I agree, but this morning TMA had the new PD columnist (First name Jesus) on in the 9 am hour. Terrible interview. Guy would not stop rambling.

He was awful- I would agree. Borderline comical that an adult could be that bad at communicating

He loves the stats, the analysis, talking about it, the whole thing.

Big fan of it all.

He wanted to make sure we knew his wife covered the NFL, but it wasn't his passion. Baseball is his passion.

Did I tell you his wife covered the NFL, but baseball is his passion?

Haha, what the hell was that? I felt bad for the guy once I realized it wasn't a joke or a character like Rudy/Mike Lee/Larry Nickel. Don't forget that he also loves soccer.

It was a train wreck.

I am sure Joe Strauss was rolling in his grave when he went into fanboy mode when talking about hanging out with players and coaches.

His Twitter name has 'kicks' in it. Ya know, because he loves soccer

My favorite part was when, after he took 25 minutes to answer 3-4 questions, he said that he hopes he wasn't talking too much, to which Charlie Marlow said "naahhhh" in a perfectly sarcastic manner.

I started it got about 4 minutes in and shut it off

It really was painful to listen to. He wouldn't stop talking, but he kept repeating the same things, telling uninteresting anecdotes, and oddly name dropping/humblebragging (I think he said something about Suge Knight being a family friend of a family friend). Hopefully he sticks to writing unlike Bernie.

The Suge Knight thing would have been weird if he were a great interview. Did he think we'd all be like 'WOW HE KNOWS SUGE KNIGHt'

Like are you sh*tting me

Ford was on with Frank today and Chris May was also there. Thought it was interesting at the end he started talking about some of the current players. Reggie he wants to be a stat guy and talked about him being at the gym working later at night already, needs to get him in better shape. He also mentioned Jermaine having the chance to be special and he spoke very highly of Elliott Welmer as well saying he has been very impressed with him and he has unbelievable potential.
