slufan13
We went 0-3 against A10 coaches that got fired this year.

brianstl
Lennox Forrester got canned at SIUE. I could Crews adding him to the staff.
For-DaLove
This is slightly surprising. I thought they made great strides this seasons and they have a lot of young talent.

brianstl
agree. 2 players on the all-rookie team right? they finished pretty strong. 5 seasons and only 44 wins will get you canned. They averaged less than 3 conf wins a season.
someoneelse
They won a game in the A-10 tourney as well. Surprising. I hope, for their sake, they have someone in mind who wants the job.

Just seems like last year would've been the year to do it. They actually showed promise this time.
Bizziken
This sounds silly, but Fordham is going to be a talented bunch next year. They get their starting center, Ryan Canty, back from injury. Rhoomes is a beast (averaged 6PPG and 9RPG) at the PF position. Then you have Paschall, Severe, Thomas, and Sengfelder returning. Could be a legit team next season. brianstl
Did they really or are we overrating their upswing because they beat us?
Pistol
This is slightly surprising. I thought they made great strides this seasons and they have a lot of young talent. Yeah, they should've done it a year sooner - or later, if this current crop busts. The new hire's job will be keeping that freshman class together. They have a few players who are easily their best talents since Jio Fontan, and it'd be painful to see these guys go the same way he did (transferred to USC). The painful truth: Fordham's freshmen are better than SLU's.
billikenbill
Surprising, with the promise they showed this year.
Old guy
Talking about transfers, I would love to see that Sengfelder kid coming to SLU.
hsmith19
Which is sadder--salivating at transfers from Fordham, or the realization that they would be taking a step down in the A-10 by coming from Fordham to SLU?
Old guy
Your pick, although we should hope the step down is temporary
The Wiz
Did they really or are we overrating their upswing because they beat us? I don't think we are overrating Fordham. For years they have been a cellar dweller with an F rating. This year they finished with a C- , a big improvement especially for a young team. Unfortunately, the powers that be don't look at underlying improvement....only wins and losses. He was let go because the Rams had a worse record than ours....10-21 vs our 11-21...They should have played Rockhurst.
brianstl
We went 0-3 against A10 coaches that got fired this year. Rick Ray Miss St and Geno Ford at Bradley have been fired, too. Our overall record against coaches that have been fired stands at 2-4. Also, Dickie Nutt got canned at SEMO today.

Also, Dickie Nutt got canned at SEMO today. And our record against coaches that didn't get fired is 9-17. Not sure that either is significant.
