  1. I had posted a question to both students and alumni soon after joining this asking how student and university support was for the games. It's too bad to see this bickering going back and forth; clearly a result of frustration on both parts. When I was a student, basketball was huge and granted, there are the off years, but it is surprising to me that the students don't flock to the games (based on what I've read.) I understand that the BlueCrew is doing their best, however, the other student organizations need to step in. ie. the Greeks. I'm traveling up to St. Louis next Wed against St. Joe's and am so excited to see my first home game since I graduated in 1991. I hope to be pleasantly surprised. again...what is the Univeristy leadership doing to assist???
  2. As I said, it's been some time since the last home game....It was SpoonBall at the time, with Charlie in the lead. Great to see the feedback regarding the student sections. I assume Wed nights are still the big "activity" nights at SLU (ie Humphrey's)...so between that and the game, I'm hoping for a great turnout and a win.
  3. Hey, Living in Dallas and now that Southwest Airlines has nonstops to St. Louis, coming up for my first home game in almost 10 years (1/25). I've seen some postings that the student/alumni fan support isn't as good as it should be. Is that true? What's the University doing to drum up local support for games??
