Taj79
Three players have left the Twerps as they make their move from the ACC to the Big Ten. Out (granted releases) from their scholarships were junior Nick Faust, sophomore center Shaquille Cleare and point guard Roddy Peters. All three will have to sit the required one year; Faust's transfer was a surprise as he was goinbg to be a senior and was the third leading player in terms of mninutes last year. Mark Turgeon has what is rumored to be a Top 15 recruiting class in tow for next year: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/terrapins-insider/wp/2014/04/08/shaq-cleare-nick-faust-roddy-peters-transferring-from-the-terps/ Just to show you the inaccuracy of things, Peters had an ESPN rating of 88 and was a four-star recruit as well. Now that he's leaving, sources are saying he's "offensvely limited." Cleare was another four-star recruit at center and Turgeon has known him since middle school. Nice. Faust was the latest link to Baltimore High School hoops and the true proving point that Turgeon woudl be recruiting Baltimore stronger than ever. Another four-star recruit who committed to Gary Williams and had to be re-recruited by Turgeon. All of Maryland's five 2014 commitments (4 LOIs and one verbal) are all 4 stars with one 3.7 stars. I expect more names to hit the road shortly from all over.
