Recruit

Recruit (1/7)

  1. Does Chris Braun still play in the summer league? Any other former players?
  2. Sloan had maybe the best dunk in SLU history at Arizona his senior year. He embarrasses Chandler Frye in transition. He is at another level than Meyer ever was.
  3. Do people on the board really believe we will get a more qualified coach than Rick Majerus? If so, your nuts. The fact that he is being job status is being questioned is embarrassing. We knew when he was hired that it would take time to implement his system, probably more so than any coach in the country. He may not be easy to work with but neither is Knight, Lombardi, Belacheck, Rockne, etc. The media and whiners need to suck it up and let the man work.
  4. Does anyone know how long Rick is signed for here at SLU. Shouldn't we be trying to lock him in for an extension. We will be hard pressed to find another Hall of Fame coach wanting to coach at SLU.
  5. Great picture. I actually heard that Justin was working for Winning Streak. Its a screen printing company owned and run by former Billiken Chris Braun. Looks like they are doing quite well.
  6. Chris Braun seems to be the biggest name the Bills have had out of the area post Larry Hughes. I think the guys RM got this year out of Chicago will pan out.
  7. With a home game and a virtual guarantee into the quarters, does anyone else think we can win the tourney. We have shown we can play with anyone with Ellis in the lineup.
  8. I see that not one person mentioned Chris Braun on your all decade team. We must remember the bigs of the Braun/Baniak era played against much tougher, bigger, and more skilled competition than the current guys (REED). I go with: Perry Love Jeffers Braun Heinrich Bench: Fisher, Liddell, Lisch, Reed, Sloan, Bryant, Voyouskas
  9. He would be paid to coach the women's team.
  10. I have a great source that tells me that DePaul's Athletic Director is planning on swapping Head Men's Basketball Coach Jerry Wainwright with Women's Basketball Coach Doug Bruno. DePaul doesn't have the money to buy out Wainwright so they see this as the best alternative. Bruno has had an excellent career at the helm of the women's program and has experience working with men while at Loyola Univ. in Chicago. He also played for DePaul under Ray Meyer. Hopefully that takes Rick out of the equation for their job.
  11. I just got a call from a friend in Springfield claiming he saw Sodie on campus in a coat and tie. We all forget that he did win 20 games last year. Administrators must be trying to package him with Kramer. Interesting development!!!!!
