Bay Area Billiken
Wouldn't put it past Doug Elgin to rig the thing and get 3 in. It's not like these Valley mystery teams haven't arisen in the past.

2010andBeyond
Lynch was awful today Ehhh that's a bit harsh. His awful game today would be better than any Slu center had all season.

I agree this year has been very disappointing, but what team, other than the very cream, win playing frosh and sophs?

slufan13
I think it's fair to expect to be ranked better than 292nd (kenpom)
Billboy1
The point was how these teams were able to recruit physical big men but we can only get projects. Doubt if either AG or BJ will turn out to be a force in the paint.

Doubt if either AG or BJ will turn out to be a force in the paint. I wonder about that too. The other A 10 teams seem to be able to get several at least serviceable big men. Not stars, but players that can defend, rebound and score a few points. Two players like that would help us enormously. Gillmann and Jolly are both major projects. From the video someone posted of Welmer he looks like another major project that will take at least a couple of years to contribute, if ever. If Neufeld is the same that will be 4 out of 13 scholarships taken by big man projects. Please, no more than one or two at the most big man projects at a time.
