DeSmetBilliken
Going to work for Frank Haith at Tulsa:
Quality Is Job 1
YIKES How soon before Tulsa is at the very bottom of "high-major" conference programs? That's a double-whammy.
FromDaEastSide
Hopefully as Director of Player Development he will know when the recruiting dead periods are since he won't be on the road recruiting.
JMM28
Tulsa will be worse this year than the previous. That trend will continue until the curse of Platt is lifted from them. I'd bet the family fortune on it.
Quality Is Job 1
Tulsa will be worse this year than the previous. That trend will continue until the curse of Platt is lifted from them. I'd bet the family fortune on it. Maybe they feel the curse of Haith and the curse of Platt will cancel each other out.
billiken_roy
what the hell is wrong with people? i cant fathom how this guy gets hired?
Bills_06
Perhaps since he's near retirement, he doesn't mind doing all of the NCAA recruiting violations for Haith so if they get caught, Haith will move to another school and Platt will retire. SLU_Nick
Director of player development...lol. Did Haith liked what he saw out of the Billikens player development? I am with Roy on this one. Stunned, baffled, perplexed...all of the above.
slu72
Player development? What's Haith been smoking?
kshoe
Director of player development is not one of the "top 3" assistants responsible for recruiting.

ACE
That is awesome! I like Haith now, because SPUMAC fans hate him so much.
Pistol
Haith is building an all-star staff. Maybe he can find a spot for Brian Gregory.
slufanskip
Player development? What's Haith been smoking? Player development ... not basketball player development. He helps them with the ladies, teaches them how to juggle 2 or 3 at a time without getting caught. ... He's actually Director of Playa development
slufan13
Anyone know if Cheaney or Bronson have been hired anywhere?
Zink
Sounds like Tanner is headed to UNLV as a Graduate Assistant; a demotion, but to a solid program.
SLU_Nick
That is a super demotion...He was the borderline lead assistant here. I am surprised he didnt look for a lower-tier assistant coaching job. It seems like that would be a better alternative than grad assistant. I can find any information regarding this move. Is there a link somewhere? JMM28
Damn. Some on here thought of him as HC material. Now he's an intern.
