Recruit

Recruit (1/7)

  1. Bryant shot 36% on threes last year and Kleiza is very capable on knocking down that shot. No miracle shot at all, especially Bryant's which was wide open.
  2. The reason the game was close was pathetic perimeter defense in the first half. They switched to a zone and really threw Indiana off in the second half. I thought they established the inside game early. The shots just weren't falling. We'll just have to disagree on this one.
  3. John had many issues besides the pot. That was just the only public thing.
  4. He claims they were shooting outside shot after outside shot. They shot 10 3's the entire game just FYI.
  5. Explain 3 Missouri post players nearly getting double doubles then? They took the ball inside the whole game, they just missed a bunch of gimmes early and AJ was in foul trouble. Quin clearly made some nice adjustments defensively at the half. I wouldn't expect you guys to see that though.
  6. They couldn't score when the threes stopped falling. 1-10 in the second half, so they only put up 19 pts. 21 of their 39 in the first half were on threes. Mizzou will probably lose to Gonzaga.
  7. Believe it or not, most people I talk to out of the state of Missouri, don't even know MU is under investigation. It hurt our rep so much that they signed a top 10 recruiting class, during the whole saga. You really think they should have fired Quin as soon as the allegations came out huh? Did you think the same thing about your buddy Romar? No, of course not. You make excuses to this day for his problems at Washington. Quin will be fired if major violations come out but unfortunately for you, it isn't likely. I know this probably ruins your Christmas.
  8. I knew you'd react that way. You're a strange dude Roy.
  9. KC Star article this morning, says that academic fraud is no longer part of the NCAA probe.
  10. I agree Roy, but it was the first game afterall. Look around the country and ranked teams everywhere aren't exactly coming out lighting teams up. Either there's alot of parity in college basketball this year, these ranked teams aren't as good as expected, or it's their first games of the season and they're all chipping off some rust. Time will tell which one it is.
  11. #10 North Carolina sqeaked a win out at Cleveland State tonight #2 Duke struggled with Detroit in their opener at home #1 UConn struggled with Yale in their opener at home #3 Michigan St squeaked out a win over Bucknell at home SLU squeaked out a win over Eastern Kentucky at home I agree it's bad scheduling. Oakland had 5 games under their belts and Mizzou's last exhibition was even 11 days ago. The reason for the late start is Mizzou was expecting to play in the Guardians Classic, or the Coaches vs Cancer Classic. The courts overturned it though, so we couldn't play.
  12. I heard that they pulled Laurie's redshirt. I don't know if that's a bad sign or not for the eligibility of Pulley. Laurie had suprised them in practices. Some even saying he looked much better than Pulley running the team. He obviously can shoot better. McKinney was gonna start at PG IMO regardless of Pulley's situation. I hardly think not having Ferguson will affect depth. He was never gonna see the court anyway, with AJ, Travon, Young and Kleiza ahead of him.
  13. I don't remember the last time all of Mizzou's recruits signed on the first day. The way it's gone this year is really no different than the last handful of years.
  14. Oh my God! You mean a college kid smoked marijuana? Wow, that never happens in college.
