Recruit (1/7)

  1. speaking of john; i was at the game last night and as a long time billiken fan i was hoping to be impressed by femi well,i would expect long times in coach rick's doghouse if last night was a true indication of what Femi brings. Twice, he clearly got caught waiting for the pass to come to him so he could fly in for a layup instead of aggressively going to the pass his passivity led to the pass getting picked off. Looked terribly like a lack of hustle also very questionable sportsmanship when the game was winding down with little shoving match with hanlen. upside is he s got a good looking jump shot although not falling last night, a big body, seems to be a strong fairly physical player but i believe may be sitting there at the end of the bench for a while unless last night was just an aberration of his usual play. I dont know Oh well this post has been too long already but will close by stating Booker is the top recruit off that team followed by John w Roundtree a distance behind we shall see what their college careers bring. i hope Ive got the order wrong, and, Femi steps to thr forefront but unfortunately I believe SIU got the prize with Booker
  2. >Last night McLaughlin or Hrabosky mentioned that Oquendo's >daughter signed with the Bills. Any additional info? That's >great that we have some big league pedigree. i know she plays softball if not mistaken he has two daughters i thought the same age that played i wonder if they both are coming
  3. i would say it was johnnie parker sr. played at central high school and if memory serves me correctly was a 1st team parade high school all american. alas i believe john flunked out after a year. it is tough being a billiken fan.
  4. i m not as adamant as some over bs s future but i do think after seeing him play soderberg s kid is a stud i a lso think you d be running a huge risk of losing tommie and kevin if you can him and make no mistake tommie is an absolute stud in the making although it wasn t evident today and kevin is now and will cont to grow into a terrific college player
  5. brutal getting hard to watch am huge tommy fan but certainly wasn t up to par today nice move brad bring in bryce for 3 seconds have him make a mistake and then yank him i never thought i d be saying it s time to go but bills are getting zero out of recruits dm s second game of year adam sat obi gone horace gone clarke gone floyd mc clain gone the list is getting longer man oh man it s getting tougher all the time being a billiken and soderberg fan
  6. i ve got to admit i was always soderberg fan but after watching last night i ll admit he seems to be in serious trouble one of two things either he cant coach which i dont believe or the kids have quit on him either one means serious trouble one of the weakest crowds i ve seen in a while and deservedly so after st bnavntre debacle even i was booing at games end and i dont remember doing that even in ekker or buddy joe brehmer days if he goes tho you ll get the talk of transfers lisch liddell for example always happens when coaching change also i know b s recruiting has struggled but his kid is a stud and will be a good d1 player i m not sure what i d do just putting some thoughts out there but am still hoping some how ian wakes up lisch starts hitting d brown starts sitting polk starts beating presses man oh man wishing for a lot like another poster always says it s tough being a billikin fan
  7. >What has to happen for people to realize Brad isn't the >right man for the job? I am embarrassed for Brad. > >Roy? >Nashville? >I'm not being an ass, but seriously look at the results ( or >lack there of). He has OBVIOUSLY lost control of his team >and is no longer an effective leader. >I can't wait for people to attempt to rationalize why this >loss is acceptable. Why is he still a good man for the job?
