Recruit

Recruit (1/7)

  1. i know its been said a million times but i just cant seem to put it in my brain, just one of those things... how many do we have to give for the new season?
  2. i think we should sign at least one foreign forward. that is either griskenas or the new vouyoukas who i believe is being recruited by several schools and will be a freshman this season
  3. i cant seem to find the photo gallery on stltoday. can someone please post the link.
  4. im sick and tired of EVERYBODY jumping on and off bandwagons judging on a players performance. Kevin has a few bad games, and you think his season is bust, ian who is just getting swarmed by half the other team everytime he gets the ball is a major disappointment to you. The only person who you all appear to be happy with is tommie, who THANKFULLY has discovered that he can shoot. But how hard is it when the ball is getting kicked out to him. I was always told that the ball has higher possibilities to go in if its going from inside out. Im just under the impression that if (Heaven forbid) tommie has a few bad games then he will suddenly be being called lazy and heartless. Btw, slu72, if Greece was the way you said it was in your thread about Ian, then he'd be long gone. He is a player who has decided to come hear, EARN A DEGREE, and play ball. The fact that you underistimate the Greek league after the USA was beaten by the Greeks is beyond me.
  5. perhaps the European big man could be another Greek. i think i remember us recruiting the younger brother of our current greek. what is happening with that, pdiddy, orange, anybody else?
  6. after the 5 huge swats he had against ole miss, the Greek is now second all time in block shots with 110. this is according to the statistics provided by www.slubillikens.com. the all-time leader by the way is melvin robinson with 127. i think we can expect ian to put his name at the top of the record list by the end of this season. http://www.cstv.com/auto_pdf/p_hotos/s_cho.../Rec-Career0506
  7. just went to look at the ole miss site to check up on their players and stats. They appear to have a similar-statistics wise- big man with us. both averaged rougly 13 and 7 last year and 14 and 10 this year. Does anybody know if this guy is any good or his ole miss played against below average teams? Anyway, another challenge for our Big Greek. Hopefully he will live up to it the way he did against "the cowboy"!
  8. how come, is he too good or not good enough?
  9. any news about the recruiting of ian's brother, alex vouyoukas? i remember hearing that we were interested in him and that he was a good player. plays forward, in greece. What's the latest with him?
  10. i love those pics metz, PAME RE ELLADA (lets go greece)
  11. i was taking a look at some of the box scores from our basketball games this season. i was paying more attention to our FGA, more than anything else. i noticed that there were many games that our freshmen, were taking more shots than our juniors/seniors. Now, of course i understand that tommie and kevin are great players and will become even better, but take a look at the George Washington game. tommie had 17 FGA, making only 5 of them. kevin had 8 FGA. then you look at our MVP of the season, ian, had only 4 FGA and anthony having only 1 FGA. Im saying this because i am wondering, if we could have won more games this season had we put the ball into more experienced hands, such as anthony's or ian's. It goes without saying ofcourse that kevin and tommie had very good freshmen seasons
  12. i think that after he works out with the teams, goes to the camp or whatever he does this summer, he will get more on the radar. i think by june, he will be much higher on those mock drafts
  13. For sure: IV, TL, KL Bubble: DP, IO, DB, AK, Contributions from the bench: BH, LM Big question: JJ Bigger question: LS coming? im interested to see who people think will start
  14. perhaps he has been told not to speak about it. There is a difference between "they are not interested in me" and "i have not got an offer in my hands yet" maybe there was a miscommunication.
