Scriveners Daughter
I don't remember you ever giving me a ball, RadioBoy! You were even nicer than that, you gave one to my friend, I believe. Nevermind the billiken balls, though-- What about the several billiken bobbleheads on my shelf?!
SluSignGuy
I think I know of a GREAT X-Mas gift for someone...Wouldn't you two be cute at Billikens games in matching shirts? How about one for the Wife!!! hehe jk Steve
Scrivener
...you're right: Assuming my lovely daughter wouldn't be more embarrassed than she normally is when attending Billiken games. After all, now she can sit alongside Scrivener anonymously at the Savvis Center. Plausible deniability, I think it's called. But I'll be in touch with her, and let you know about the t-shirt order. Mobile-iken
You have several bobbleheads? Are you willing to sell one?
Scriveners Daughter
I almost wanted Scriv's Daughter on the t-shirt, but then thought better of it. I think my mom thinks we've all turned to the dark side-- she thinks 3 out of 5 of our family members buying the shirts is quite enough! Box and Won
Don't worry, T. The Billikens turned things around last year and so can your team. I'm predicting victory tomorrow for the Billikens. You gotta believe!
Quality Is Job 1
You're quite right. The thing is, it will take at least above-average commitment from our players and attentiveness in practice. If our players have gotten to the point that they're ready to devote their attention and efforts to what the coaches are trying to teach them, but not so low as to have completely lost confidence, then we can still turn things around. The Billikens had that last year (and their commitment level was &l;and is&r; a lot higher than what I expect to get from our players). Quality Is Job 1
a homer and freely admit it. What's so bad about being called a homer? Perhaps you're thinking of the Simpsons, but I'm not. I think of the much older sense of "homer."
