75LAWSLU
We missed eight free throws--two by TL and a one and one by Greek. If we had hit 5 of those, it would be a different ball game. Guards should hit 85%. We shot 60%. That hurt. Why Polk doesn't shoot more bugs me. If he did, he could take the pressure off of TL and KL. Taj79
... with one possible exception. Going into last night, he was shooitng 33.7% overall on 28-for-83. When you add in his performance last night, that drops his percentage to 33.0% even after a 2-for-8 night. From three point land, he was 5-for-35 going into last night for 14.3% and actually raised that overall percentage by going 1-for-4. What is the exception is that if you take out his three point shooting, and count last night, he is 24-for-52 which is a quite respectable 46.1%. In another thread I laid out our shooting options on a sequential scale. This percentage is why I said our third option should be a 12- to 15-footer and not a three. Seems nobody can make the three right now so why kill ourselves with it.
