Old guy
Who cares as long as someone else gets the record of lowest score recorded in a game.

The point is that if the margin is so large at halftime, the team ahead will relax the defense enough in the second half to allow the team on the losing end to score more than 20 points — usually more than 40 — by the end of the game. This game featured a 65 point spread and the winning team scoring 3.1 times more points than the loser. By comparison our GW game featured "just" a 29 point spread and GW scoring 2.45 times more points than SLU. Also, in a way, that 20 point game is a testament to Majerus as a coach and how much the players trusted(?)/ respected(?)/ feared(?) him even in his 1st year. That team was pretty bad, but it had Kevin Lisch and Tommie Liddell III on it. I have no doubt that they could have started playing street ball on offense / given up on a little bit on defense and likely scored more points. Instead they kept playing the signature tough Majerus defense which kept the score close enough that GW didn't let up and they kept trying to run the Majerus offense that they obviously had no idea how to run or were too undermanned to run. After losing by 29 in that game, later in the year we turned around and beat GW by I believe 23.
