Wow A big splash is not what is needed - what we need is a coach who can turn the program around and there are plenty of coaches at lesser programs that can be successful at doing that. Why we haven't just hired the Fordham coach by now makes no sense. Knows A10, obviously can build a program in similar school/budget. Guess we will see. The next coach will be hamstrung in he same way McGinty was. Shoestring budget and an unsupportive athletic department. May is shooting way too high and is missing way short. That has been the problem with the soccer program for years. It wasn't just a problem for McGinty. McGinty's problem was that he just wasn't that good.
