goonaha
Talk about non SLU schools to your heart's content in this here thread. A lot of people seem upset at their safe spaces being violated elsewhere so I thought this would be a good place to contain the angst in. HenryB
I don' think people have a problem with college basketball discussion. A lot of people object, however, to this board becoming the home for Mizzou trolls. There are plenty of sources for Mizzou information. This doesn't need to become the first place people look. slufan13
Montana State is looking pretty good next year. Returns all five starters from a team that went 16-16 last season.
HoosierPal
Do you think Danny Brown can get enough players to field a team at St. Louis School of Pharmacy? The Eutectics were a five man squad last season and finished 0-25. Two seniors hopefully graduated, so he has two slots to fill. Think any Grad Transfers would be interesed? They do return their two bigs, both 6'3" forwards. But there are plenty of empty chairs on the bench. Warm bodies are wanted.

But, yes, Brooks Ford is a Senior at DeSmet next season. If you want to talk about his college plans, go to Recruiting 2018 thread.

On the STLCOP website (https://www.eutecticsports.com/roster/0/1.php) only 5 players are listed on the roster, but on this website there are 10 listed (http://www.dakstats.com/WebSync/Pages/Team/Roster.aspx?association=10&sg=MBB&sea=NAIMBB_2016&team=588). I'd imagine that they will have a team.
bonwich
They should change their name to the Opioids -- they'd have JeffCo recruiting locked up. They wouldn't even have to think about a mascot. Edit: Instant home-and-home with SIUC.

You think University of Montana will finally give them a home and home or are they too chicken? Of course Montana probably feels like they are big brother to Montana St. and has everything to lose by playing them. When Montana St. sucks they say it'll hurt their RPI. When Montana St. is good they say they already have a game in the same city as Montana St. and don't want to legitimize them. Maybe they should start the game at a neutral site but where is fair? They've been arguing about this for 40 years and except for a 3 game window, they never play!

RUBillsFan
Across the state, Drew Diener is building Rockhurst into a Jesuit bball powerhouse. He is infusing the program with talent at a pace that would make Travis Ford blush. https://rockhursthawks.com/news/2017/5/18/mens-basketball-hawks-add-sutton-to-2017-18-roster.aspx https://rockhursthawks.com/news/2017/5/16/mens-basketball-diener-inks-volz-to-2017-recruiting-class.aspx https://rockhursthawks.com/news/2017/4/19/mens-basketball-muench-joins-2017-recruiting-class.aspx https://rockhursthawks.com/news/2017/4/12/general-rockhurst-adds-lewis-to-2017-recruiting-class.aspx https://rockhursthawks.com/news/2016/11/15/mens-basketball-hawks-sign-6-6-forward-from-west-des-moines.aspx?path=mbball Watch out GLVC, here come the Hawks! Kind of feel sorry for Danny Brown. I'm guessing half the team quit. Before those last games, they had six. Then they forfeited the last two games.
