BLIKNS
With the talk of the AAC looking at adding Wichita State...what if the A-10 decided to get aggressive..say let's invite Wichita State and another Midwestern school say....Northern Iowa, Valpo or Belmont...IF that happened you could have 4 -4 team pods..... West- Dayton, Wichita State, SLU, and say Valpo/Northen Iowa/ or , Belmont....East-GW, George Mason, Richmond and VCU....North- Duquesne, St. Bonaventure, Davidson and UMass.... ....Metro-LaSalle, St.Joes, Fordham, Rhode Island. Or some other combinations. Any thoughts?
brianstl
My guess is that WSU isn't interested in joining the A10. Last year the talk was WSU trying to get into the Mountain West. Both the AAC and the MWC probably make more sense to them when it comes to attracting students. There aren't a ton of kids on the eastern seaboard pining to go to a state school in Wichita, KS.
