Careful on the rankings because you're not always getting apples to apples. Aggregators like VC aren't reliable because they don't pick up all of them, so an "average" ranking/rating there could only reflect 1-2 services.

Also, that's not our Jalen Johnson on the top 150 lists; there's another Jalen Johnson who is a freshman at Tennessee.

2017 rankings

Goodwin: 56 Rivals, 52 Scout, 57 ESPN, 48 247Sports, 74 Future150

French: 139 Rivals, NR Scout (18 PF), NR ESPN (24 PF), 158 247Sports, 102 Future150 - given his position rank at ESPN and Scout, whose lists only go up to 100, French would be squarely in the 100-150 tier.

2014 rankings

Bess: 119 Rivals, NR Scout (25 SF), NR ESPN (20 SG), 148 247Sports

Foreman: 133 Rivals, NR Scout, NR ESPN (37 PF), 128 247Sports

Henriquez: NR Rivals (150-200), NR Scout, NR ESPN (23 SG), 124 247Sports

So we have four (arguably five) guys who are/were top-150 recruits for their class, one of whom is a top-60 recruit.

French still has 1 year left to move in those rankings, correct?

MoyToy and I have bed space for about 10 between us.  Previously, I volunteered to host during Arlington Texas' Final 4.  I Now live in Austin and we could rent a bus to shuttle us from my place to SA, it's a 1.5 hr drive.  We could pitch in for a keg of Easy Drinking Busch Light to make the ride better or just stop at Buc-ee's for tall boys.

Overflow goes to Knight's Inn.

Breakfast Tacos are complimentary.

I'll pitch in for a breakfast at the Guenther House in SA and all-you-can eat Beaver Nuggets from Buc-ee's. Robert Earl Keen Jr performs "Feelin Good Again" at the pre-game party.

Individual rankings are definitely a bit hard to pin down as there is little consistency outside of the top 75ish.

Do note that I got the Jalen Johnson ranking from our team page on verbal commits, not from the player list, so unless VC got them mixed up somewhere that should be accurate.

Not a full year, but I suppose both he and Goodwin could see their rankings move over the course of the next several months.

I saw Adonys 39 somewhere, thought it was rivals, but now I'm wondering if I just misspelled and got the wrong guy.

He peaked that high, but it was early in his HS career. Definitely fell off a bit towards the end. Regardless of rankings, he's a proven shooter and scorer from a strong conference. I'll take his collegiate performance as an indication that he can contribute to a good team.

Love the fact that our young guys have to go up against top 150 players every day in practice.  Hopefully that translates into them into being a little more game-ready the first month of the season.
