Jordan Barnett is using the last of his eligibility this season.  There's none left for a graduate transfer season (he never sat out a full season).

Thanks for the correction.  I thought he had only played 3 years plus his transfer/redshirt year.

Found some video on Brandon Mahan. Early observation are that he appears to have decent footwork, a quick release, and decent dribbling abilities. I'm no expert, but this is a guy I'd love to see in Billiken blue next year.

Thanks for sharing the video nice long range shot.

-who is the last player we had from a juco? is it Barry Eberhardt? that's 10 years ago

I think you're right.

Sodie had a Chipola connection getting Newborne and Frericks. One was damaged goods and the other was a overweight unmotivated PF.

Back in 2010 TF got a player that was heavily recruited out of Chipola named Darrell Williams. That did not end well for OSU, he was charged with sexual assault and left after one year.

Thanks for the video, @johnbj14. I was searching for video on the day we offered (2/4) and this was posted the next day. There was virtually nothing before then, so this is a great find.

He's not as big as Henriquez in terms of his frame, but he's close to the same height and length. He appears to have excellent range and a quick, smooth release. His stats show that he's basically a specialist. He averages 51.1% from 3, making 3.0 per game on 5.9 attempts. Almost exactly 2/3 of his FGA are from 3, and his overall FG% is basically the same. He averages 13.2 points and 4.8 rebounds, shooting 76.5% from the line.

Villanova just signed a PG, so a certain player that plays that position is still available. Maybe TF will be at WG for someone other than Gordon today. Wishful thinking.

Word on Quinerly's intention to commit there reached Villanova (and Ramey) a couple weeks ago. Ramey was supposed to visit earlier this month and suddenly cancelled it, and this was the rumor as to why and it appears to have been true. He has no shortage of suitors who have increased their push in the meantime, and a few new ones have entered the mix. SLU did what it needed to do here - extend an offer to satisfy the Team Ramey collective ego - but we were never in play and there's no indication that will change. Which is a shame, because he'd be a day-one starter on his hometown team that has a chance to be excellent.

The Campbell commitment takes UCLA out of the running, too. Oklahoma State and Texas have been involved for a long time. Clemson, SMU, South Carolina, Illinois (again, Ayo Dosunmu has me questioning this as a landing spot), Oklahoma, Minnesota, and a few others are involved lately, too.

sorry, said that wrong, UCLA "was".   You're right, Texas and Shaka has seen him a lot.

a small rumor I heard is that pops isnt to quiet about getting paid from these coaches.

Getting paid. That's probably why he was going to Louisville.

For people that for Alonzo Verge I highly doubt he is a qualifier out of high school. If that is the case he will need two years of JUCO

This is correct. He was a non-qualifier out of high school, I think due to a combination of missing his necessary test score and some credit issues because he transferred 5 or so times.

Do non-qualifiers require two years of juco to become eligible for D-I?
