3star_recruit
Speaking of kids who play against lower level competition, if you want to check out Sikeston's Fred Thatch, his squad will be in the St. Dominic's Holiday tournament Dec 27-30. The championship game will likely be a rematch of Sikeston and Fort Zumwalt South.
doowop
Riverview plays in the Suburban North Conference. That is not lower level competition and they usually play in a tough Christmas Tourney. Even so, Cardinal Ritter plays in a lower class conference and look at the quality of players it has turned out.

Well, considering he's a junior, I suspect they're unofficial visits. And those schools are not far apart (in distance).

Zeke also comes from a lower level of competition high school and also played for Team Ramey in AAU. This may mean they have something more in common besides the city they come from. Watson >>>>>>>>>Moore. Look no further than the respective offer lists.

cgeldmacher
http://collegebasketball.nbcsports.com/2016/11/02/2016-17-college-basketball-coaches-on-the-hot-seat/ This is an NBC Sports article about coaches on the "hot seat." Interestingly, they include: Kim Anderson, John Groce, Mike Anderson, Bruce Weber, and Lorenzo Romar. I mention this, because these are all guys that try to recruit heavily in the St. Louis area. If we start to take off and these guys all continue to struggle or get fired, we could dominate area recruiting for a while. Also interesting that Romar hired Michael Porter, Sr. in the offseason. Porter's primary coaching talent is that he has a five star son ('17) and a four star son ('18) that miraculously signed with Washington after Sr. was hired as an asst. coach. The family lives in Missouri and he was an asst. coach on Mizzou's women's team the past few years. I mention this, because if Romar gets fired in the offseason, perhaps we could find a spot on the staff for Porter Sr., if he needed a spot to land and wanted to return to the area. The whole family moved to Seattle. Other than the 2 daughters playing at Mizzou, they have no attachment to the area now. Kim Anderson is sitting on a rather comfortable hot seat. He only has to improve from last season, which shouldn't be too difficult considering its the same team just a year older. Mike Anderson and Groce, now this can be great, especially with timing. UoI nearly lost to Wash U the other day. They have a rough late nov early dec. Could drop 5 games in that time. Perfect time for a firing. Jordan Walker PG, 6-0, 160 Elizabeth, NJ (The Patrick School) Offers: VCU, Seton Hall, K-State, Tulane, UAB, Monmouth, Iona, Stony Brook, Farleigh Dickinson, Towson, Robert Morris, Wagner, St. Peter’s. Interest: SLU, Villanova, Georgia Tech, NC State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Florida, Georgia, USC, SMU, South Florida, Louisiana Tech. Latest News: SLU was out to visit Walker as November opened. His most recent unofficial visits were to Georgia, Georgia Tech, and VCU. Scouting Report: Walker is an active, tough, hard working PG with tremendous court vision and passing ability. He’s quick and loves to score off the dribble, but has a quickly improving jumper. He’s also a lock-down defender. Pistol
Fun Fact: Jordan Walker hit a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer to beat Chaminade last December in the City of Palms Classic semifinals. I remember that but hadn't made the connection until I started researching Walker and Buay Koka. Walker and Koka also play alongside 5-star uncommitted big man Nick Richards at the Patrick School, which will play in the COPC again this December.
