Just so I am clear, all of these guys in this 2018 are current Juniors in high school, right?  Seniors are the class of 2017 (2016-2017 basketball year) so the class of 2018 will be the 2017-2018 basketball year, right?

Yes..

Junub Char Chuol

SG, 6-4, 160

Omaha, NE (Blair Academy, NJ)

Offers: SLU.

Interest: Rutgers, Nebraska, Wisconsin, South Dakota.

Latest News: SLU visited Blair Academy in September to check on Turner and Mack, and extended an offer to Char. SLU is his first offer.

Scouting Report: Char is a lean, talented guard with a high motor. He’s a confident dribbler in space and in traffic and can score off the dribble.

Guy will pronounce his name charcoal.  He may even call him briquette or kingsford.

How do you know he cancelled?

Heading down to state this Saturday!! #MIZ

He tweeted that on a Thursday 2 days prior.  And then....

Alex Schiffer‏@TheSchiffMan

Also Carte'Are Gordon & Torrence Watson will both take unofficial visits to Missouri this weekend. Gordon didn't make it this past weekend.

Okay thanks.  I didn't see the Alex Schiffer tweet.  Heard Gabe DeArmond mention on the radio he didn't think the Mizzou game would sell out this weekend and if they get down early, I could see the stadium emptying out.  May not be best environment come second half.

The game may not sell out, but it will be pretty close to a sell out.  UGA is supposed to get around 12,000 tickets.

I don't think the game will be a blow out.  The party atmosphere of a college football weekend is the bigger selling point than the game itself.  If that is what this or any other kid is looking for, we aren't going to land them.

2018 offer list updates:

USC, Wichita State, and Illinois State were out to Chaminade this month to see Karrington Davis. USC and WSU also were there to see Jericole Hellems.

Michael DeVoe added offers from LSU and Florida Gulf Coast.

Ayo Dosunmu added offers from Mizzou and UTEP. He said UC, Xavier, Iowa State, Creighton, Northwestern, Illinois, and Purdue are talking to him the most right now. He just took an unofficial visit to Wisconsin. He will take his officials next year at this time, and said he has no leaders at this point. Just wants to play for an offensive-minded program that allows him to score and distribute in an uptempo offense.

UTEP was Kevin Easley's only new offer over the summer, but he already had 16 prior to that, and tons of high-level interest. Louisville is out to see him this week, and he recently visited Cincinnati.

No new offers for Tim Finke, who stands at 15 currently. Oregon and Illinois were out to see him this month, and he was able to visit Notre Dame, Vandy, Illinois, and Michigan this summer. Kansas, Arizona, and other bluebloods are showing interest.

As previously discussed, Carte'Are Gordon's list is down to 11: SLU, St. John's, KU, Texas, Oklahoma State, Kentucky, Mizzou, Illinois, Notre Dame, USC, and SMU. He just visited Mizzou with Watson and new commit CJ Roberts.

Malik Hall has transferred from Metea Valley (Naperville, IL) to Sunrise Christian in Kansas. Young for his class, he also reclassified as a 2019 recruit.

Trey Jemison, who was listed at 6-8, 195 by most services when we offered several months ago, now measures as big as 6-11, 230 in some listings. He has added offers from Alabama, Georgia, Stanford, Arkansas-Little Rock, and Liberty over the summer. He's the consensus top player in Alabama's 2018 class.

Keldon Johnson has an absurd number of offers now, with Louisville and Auburn the most recent. He's a consensus top-25 player. He recently visited West Virginia; he transferred to Huntington Prep prior to this season.

Temple is the latest to offer Marcus Littles, who took a recent unofficial visit to Seton Hall.

Foster Loyer took unofficial visits to Oakland and Michigan State. MSU is thought to be his leader, as they've been on this under-the-radar player from the start. He's showing up just outside the top 100 in most 2018 rankings.

Arashma Parks visited UMass in September. They appear to be after him the hardest at this point.

About a dozen high-level programs (including SLU) have been out to see Courtney Ramey this month. He will visit Iowa State next month. Here's a recent article about his status; SLU has an uphill battle, it seems.

Cole Swider added offers from GW, Xavier, and Seton Hall; 9 of his 12 offers are from A10 and Big East schools. He has taken recent unofficial visits to Syracuse, UMass, and Rhode Island. The sharpshooter has grown to 6-8; his parents are 6-8 and 6-4.

Wynston Tabbs added offers from GW and St. Joe's.

SLU visited Fred Thatch this week. SIUC was in last week to check on him.

Dallas Watson visited Yale and Monmouth in August.

Torrence Watson's visit to Mizzou with Roberts and Gordon has been documented here already. He'll visit Iowa State in October. SLU and a number of other schools were out to see him this month.

Jeenathan Williams added Marquette and Niagara offers this month.

How did we get so behind on Ramey? I feel like he's been a no brainer recruit since he's been in high school.

He' been recruited by college coaches since middle school. He's never liked SLU.
