I do not think the outcome will affect us that much at all. My biggest fear, again, is that our kids will not be able to run the table knowing they have the A-10 practically clinched. And if when they do, the last 3 games, @ VCU, Dayton, @ U Mass, we will be playing teams that might be 1,000% more motivated than us, playing for seeding, byes, and getting their NCAA resumes enhanced by beating us. One loss and the AP and USA will dump on us 5-7 spots and even more with two losses. But no worries, sure win the A-10 and the A-10 Tourney, but what matters is winning TWO goddam NCAA games. Quibble about seeding for the NCAA is over done. # 3, # 4, # 5, # 6... does it matter that much in the scramble of all the teams that are possible opponents? We are playing like sh*t. Awful. Chaz kept under control nicely but we can't find the bucket again. The VCU board is not a happy place. 5 point lead after that mess. Guess I'll take it, but it should be more like 11. Oh, and our FT's are non-existent again. A few threes and a tired MASS team should end up well. Is there a charge call left in the NCAA game? As long as you don't put your shoulder down it's not a charge even if the defender has been set since you got to the foul line. Thanks 68 and Old Guy We should get there, but this evening's disgusting play was brutal for me to watch. I hope the rivalry continues and you guys don't go to the Catholic East. Problem with our team is we can't shoot into the side of a red barn. If we could shoot, we'd be where you guys are. Reddic is soft. He is big and talented, but he's a non factor with the little gimmick layups and hooks when he should be banging. We've been wondering what happened to him all year long. He was a 70% plus FT shooter last year. .NBA scouts were all over him early in the year. He's proven beyond a doubt that he's not PRO caliber. Now we're lucky if we get 1 of 2 FT from him and a 40% shooting game I think our streak of getting to the 32 is done. We missed 18, count em, 18 layups tonight. How bad is that? And less than 50% FT's. Make half of either and the game is well in hand. Story of our season. Like I said earlier SLU is the team in this league that can go to the final 4 and is capable of winning the whole deal. That's 36 friggin points. Make 9 and win by 12-15 On that we can fully agree. By the way Majerus RIP with all the respect in the world from me has been gone quite some time now. He was arguably the best coach in the game. Time to change your screen name. Get the job done tonight. Should be an easy win for Saint Louis U.
