slu72 fan Posted June 29, 2010 Share Posted June 29, 2010 Admittedly, one of few that does care and attends games, the women's program is in trouble. Next year figures to be very challenging. With Amanda and Katie graduating, it's hard to imagine how the team will improve on last year's record. I think Shimmy is safe until her contract expires, but unless there is real improvement, I don't see her lasting after that. Somehow she needs to be able to recruit St. Louis players that can make her competitive and help build a fan base. Losing with out of town players is not a good strategy for job security.
