welcome to the board. It sounds like Bryant is a great athlete and he would fit in perfectly with our next batch of recruits. I hope you all win the game on Sat. Good luck!

It would be great for our school. Bryant is a special kid. I dont like to talk about him much, but I do encourage people to come see him for themselves. So saturday I will be in attendance. I hope to see any of you out to see him.

I think this thread represents everything that is good about this board. Some misinformation that was being spread was debunked, by several credible sources. Plus it helped bring a former Billiken onto the board. Welcome Corey. I look forward to future insights.

I don't see a lot of "personal sniping" in this thread. The debate is primarily focused on basketball recruiting.

Now the following would be an example of "personal sniping"..... "VTIME as a representative of what a Normandy/Harris-Stowe educated writer of newsletters should be, I suggest you at least learn that you are producing a "site" not a "sight". Also, when using terms like, "insulting them to" I would have hoped that your vast education would have at least prepared you on the proper spelling and usage of the little word "to"/"too"/"two". See how Nate and Nark, two producers of web sites use proper English and spelling-you might want to learn those basics b/4 continuing to put out info on your site."

after an offline private message conversation with corey frazier this afternoon, i am now convinced that corey indeed has always had saint louis university's best interest at heart concerning prospective division one athletes that he might have some influence over their collegiate decision making process. I am convinced my source had incorrectly identified elements of previous recruiting situations that seemed to go against saint louis university and corey did not direct prospective recruits to look elsewhere instead of saint louis university first.

i apologize to corey for making the insinuation earlier in this thread to the contrary and look forward to corey's players possibly becoming billikens in the future. i truly appreciate corey taking the time to discuss this issue with me and am glad that we have corey frazier out there fighting the fight to this day for billiken basketball. thanks corey!

I feel compelled to reply, I miss out on all this good stuff because I have a real job and can't check this site all day. See yesterday when I was off for Veteran's day how many bad posts I had.

Anyway, last year my wife and I when to the 12/30/2006 SLU v Ole Miss game then to Humphrey's afterwards prior to the SLU WBB game v. Arkansas. We saw Major Majerus there and it was great. We also ran into Corey Frazier in the parking lot he was driving what I recall to be a new model, silver Mercedes SUV, which I thought was very nice for a HS coach's salary. However, that is for another thread debate.

I said, "Hey Corey you got any guys good enough for SLU?"

He replied, "Just one Bryant Allen, he is a sophomore."

I said, "Awesome send him to SLU."

He said, "Alright."

The preceding conversation is not verbatim but is paraphrased. Frazier was entering his vehicle with an unidentified white female approximately 5'5, 110 lbs., brown hair, mid 20s.

So there you go first hand account of Corey Frazier promoting one of his players to go to SLU. Sorry I couldn't be here sooner to clear this all up for you guys.

***all the preceding is true but I could be wrong about the girl's hair color she could've been blonde****

Well this ended nicely. :)

I hope so. Great post, Roy. We will know if all parties are willing to stop/reduce the personal attacks. Hopefully, Roy's post will go a long way. The only aspect of this Board I dislike. Kind of goes to show you how many people read this Board. Alot more than the regular posters.

Signing day 2007: what a great day to be a Billikan fan!!
