Scoop
SLU has been calling Ricky Claitt, a shooting pg from Mineral Area. I posted early in the season to keep an eye on this kid. He is smooth and can flat out shoot it. He is visiting Oregan State this weekend. Sounds like a back up plan to peterson. Late interest though, good luck. 3star_recruit
Well, there's certainly lots of playing time available: http://tinyurl.com/2srfjp
bg
Ricky told me last week he is still undecided and that it's a tough decision. FWIW, his girlfriend is a volleyball player at MAC. Just completed her first season, but would be eligible to move on since she's not at a CC because of grades. Don't know whether or not she's good enough to play at the D1 level. She's an international plyer who is a few years older than most college Freshmen. Although Ricky is from Florida, he likes snow and cold weather. Look for a couple schools from the West to be players in his recruitment.
VTIME
I want Willie Hassell another guard from Mineral Area who was a 3rd team All-American. Give me the All-American, not part of his supporting cast.
mackim56
Mineral area has a stable full of 6' -- 6' 3" guards - Fowler just signed with UALR.
marcus aurelius
Claitt is a better D1 prospect than Hassell.
bg
Ricky signed with Oregon State over the weekend. Willie is deciding between UALR and South Dakota State.
